Trash The Dress Refreshed!

Share

This is a Trash The Dress Session from 2010. I have been going through past images lately organizing them for my own reference, and while doing so, I decided to re-edit my favourite ones from this session. At the time I was really happy with my edits, but looking back now, I saw where I could improve. I imported them back into Lightroom and tweaked them a little bit, more to my liking. I wanted to share them again as they are richer and brighter! We had a lot of fun with this session. It was Thanksgiving weekend, so the water was cold and we even had cake to smash at the end of it all! Thanks to the ladies for being such good sports and at least testing the water out! Stay Posted for more Trash The Dress Sessions this summer! If you would like to participate in one, or schedule one for yourself email erin@transitionsphotography.ca and we will set it up!

Waterloo Park Engagement Session with Rizo and Allison

Share

Rizo and Allison are getting married in July, and I am so excited to be a part of their Special Day! We met up for these Engagement Photos at Waterloo Park, and I knew as soon as I saw them the colours they were wearing were going to ‘pop’! Amanda, Allison’s Sister came along, as well as their son Kayden. We killed 3 birds with one stone and got some nice Family Photos, and a present for Mother’s Day! I am looking forward to their wedding, because after spending some time with them, I am pretty sure it is going to be a lot of fun!

A Blue Themed Wedding! Sean and Erin..

Share

Here are images from another Wedding I shot with Latte Productions. Erin and Sean, along with their whole wedding party were so much fun to work with. They made us feel welcome and part of the fun!
On a side note, I will no longer be shooting for Latte Productions, but I will still be offering Wedding Photography as a big part of my Services. There are lots of dates available for 2012 still, so if you haven’t booked a Photographer for your Wedding, I will be offering a special discount for 2012 Weddings!

Myself as the Subject

It’s a yucchy, rainy day (what was supposed to be a HUGE snowstorm) and I needed some inspiration. So, I tried to do my make up (I would love to learn how to do some cool eye make up and bring out my eyes more!) put my hair back – I didn’t have the patience to do too much with it and I am not very good at doing my own hair, but I hardly ever wear it back like this, so this is ‘doing my hair’ for me. All of my camera equipment was out and ready to go for a wedding tomorrow, so why not? This is probably the best practice a photographer can get because we are the most critical of ourselves. When I take photos of myself, I realize more and more what women are thinking when they are in front of my camera. Here, once again is Me in front of my own camera. I wanted to try some close ups this time!

Trash The Dress Reflection (HDR)

These Photos are from a Trash The Dress Photo Shoot I did almost 2 years ago. I have been organizing all of the photos I have collected over the last couple of years, and thought I would try a few different things with some of them as I go. So here are a few Trash The Dress photos in HDR.

After I posted the photos of the Barbies a few weeks ago, I received an invitation from a friend to photograph her Barbie Collection.  I was in awe when I saw all of the Barbies on display! Someday I would … Continue reading
