A Blue Themed Wedding! Sean and Erin..

Here are images from another Wedding I shot with Latte Productions. Erin and Sean, along with their whole wedding party were so much fun to work with. They made us feel welcome and part of the fun!
On a side note, I will no longer be shooting for Latte Productions, but I will still be offering Wedding Photography as a big part of my Services. There are lots of dates available for 2012 still, so if you haven’t booked a Photographer for your Wedding, I will be offering a special discount for 2012 Weddings!

I was organizing all of my photography equipment just after Christmas and I rediscovered my Fisheye lens. It is so much fun to use! I was just itching to use it for something, so during the Christmas holidays I ventured … Continue reading

This whole photoshoot was inspired by one thing – The Couch!  My neighbour was getting new furniture, so he offered this to me.  It definitely did not fit in with my decor, but as soon as I saw it I knew I could use it for something!  Not much later, I envisioned this photo shoot!  The dresses, the make up, the hair – it was all inspired by the brown and orange flowered 70′s style couch.  This was so much fun!

On The Other Side Of The Camera

For some time now I have wanted to get some awesome photos of myself, but have learned that self portraits are harder than I thought!  I also don’t have the budget for something so frivolous right now so I found a solution.

I met Amber when she came along for moral support for her Aunt’s Boudoir Photo Shoot.  The make up artist that we booked for the shoot had to cancel due to weather conditions (understandably), so Amber brought along her make up case and made her Aunt look stunning!  I quickly found out that Amber was an aspiring Model, Make up Artist AND has a passion for photography.

I asked Amber if she wanted to collaborate and work on a little photo shoot together.  Originally it was going to be a photo shoot of her, and then I just wanted my make up done and for her to take a few photos of myself with my camera as Amber doesn’t have an SLR yet.  In exchange for a little free advertising by using my logo on her photos and giving her full credit for the make up, hair and shooting the photos of myself.

Amber did such a wonderful job on my make up and hair – very Goth!  Pale Skin, Black Eye Make up and Red Lips!  I loved it!

So, I handed the camera to Amber and we worked a few poses.  As a photographer I can very easily tell my models and subjects how to pose and what to do, but get me in front of the camera and I don’t have a clue!  At least I didn’t have to suck anything in as the corset did that for me!  I just wanted some wicked headshots to use, and I definitely got some.  One of my friends told me I could be in a Vampire movie – all I need is some Fangs!  Maybe Next time.

I am giving Amber full credit for shooting these – all I did was retouch them in my own style.  You can also see my previous post of Amber’s photo shoot, but here are the photos of Yours Truly in FRONT of the camera!
