These Photos are from a Trash The Dress Photo Shoot I did almost 2 years ago. I have been organizing all of the photos I have collected over the last couple of years, and thought I would try a few different things with some of them as I go. So here are a few Trash The Dress photos in HDR.

I know I take a lot of photos of the Moon, but I just can’t resist! The Full Moon is always so big and bright and there is just something about it that makes me want to grab my camera! Do you want to know what’s even better? Waking up in the morning and seeing the Moon so big and bright still in the sky! Here is the Full Moon at night, and then at 7:30 the following morning. So Gorgeous! I am so blessed to wake up to this view every day!

After I posted the photos of the Barbies a few weeks ago, I received an invitation from a friend to photograph her Barbie Collection.  I was in awe when I saw all of the Barbies on display! Someday I would like to do more with them, but I definitely had fun picking and choosing which ones to photograph.  So many eras, genres, outfits, complexions, hairstyles and colours! She even had accessories and furniture!  This is just something I did for fun, as well to challenge myself and keep my creative juices flowing!

I used my Minolta 50mm F/1.2 Lens again for this – I think it is going to be my favourite lens!

Colin Carmicheal organized a Photo Walk through Southworks Mall in Cambridge for anyone who wanted to participate. I think the most popular part of it was the Antique Mall, and that is where I got most of my images. There were so many things to look at and photograph! Everyone else was far ahead of me and had already made it through before I was even halfway, but I hate missing stuff, and I LOVE browsing through Antique Markets. These were all shot with a Sony a700 DSLR and a 50mm Minolta f1.2 Lens.

I was organizing all of my photography equipment just after Christmas and I rediscovered my Fisheye lens. It is so much fun to use! I was just itching to use it for something, so during the Christmas holidays I ventured into my daughter’s bedroom and got out a few Barbie dolls to use as my subjects! After all, they have great outfits and their make up is perfect. To pose them, you just pick them up and put them wherever you want and they stay completely still!
This also gave me a great decorating idea for my daughters’ bedrooms! I am going to blow some of these photos up and hang them in their room for decoration. How cool would it be to have your own Barbies up on the wall?!

Here’s Jasmine! What better subject than a Burlesque Dancer! She brought bags and suitcases full of fun stuff to wear, and this is what we came up with!  I didn’t have to give her much direction, she just moved! This gave me the opportunity to just shoot away! There are so many Beautiful photos I couldn’t pick just a few of my favourites, and this collection isn’t even all of them!  This was all done right in the comfort of my own home studio with a white backdrop and some lighting.  I am very proud to add these photos to my portfolio.  Thanks to Jasmine!

Chelsey is looking to expand her Modeling Portfolio with something a little edgy, so here is what we came up with. I love that she showed up all dressed and in her Fishnets! I love the photos and this is just a preview! Keep posted for more!

What have I been up to lately? Just a bit of work on my portfolio! I have a lot to post in the very near future, but here is one from this morning that I just love!

I was making my children’s lunches this morning for their first day back to school of the New Year, and I looked briefly out the kitchen window and saw a great big orange moon in the sky just over to the right in the field.  Me, in my housecoat, ran into my office, grabbed my camera and ran outside to capture the moment before the sun started rising. These were taken from the back deck of my house.  What a beautiful view we have! I am so lucky to live in such a great spot!

These images were taken with a Sony a700, Exposure 1/10 sec at f/11, with ISO of 400. This was around 7:45am, so it was still dusk.

I’m a sucker for a beautiful moon! (no pun intended!)
