I have been on Twitter for about 2 years now (@transitionphoto), and I come across many wonderful quotes every day. I have been saving them in my ‘Favourites’ because they inspire me. Here are 25 in no particular order. I will make some follow up posts with lots more in the future because there are too many to include all at once. The Wandering Raccoon

Share

I’m not a Wildlife Photographer, but when I see something interesting or different, I have to run to get my camera! I was outside with the kids waiting for the bus this morning and noticed an animal on the road about a half kilometer away, and realized it was a raccoon. It wasn’t moving very fast, so either it is injured or has rabies. It was far enough away that we weren’t in any danger. I ran inside to grab my camera and luckily it was still there, wandering around in the middle of the road. (Still far enough away and moving very slow!) I don’t even think it was noticing the cars stopping for it, honking and then going around.
I wasn’t stupid, I put my 300mm lens on and zoomed in instead of trying to get close. If it is wandering around super slow during the day, there is definitely something wrong.
